Superfine

Lucy Pinter and Flora Evans met on a fashion shoot in 1999, introduced by mutual friend and style icon Judy Blame. Lucy, one of London’s edgier stylists and Flora, a photographer and illustrator were desperate for a jean they couldn’t find so they started designing their own.

In 2003 they established Superfine. They attracted a dedicated following including icons like Kate Moss, Kate Bosworth, Scarlott Jonhansen and Cameron Diaz. Focusing on the skinny jean and sophisticated, clean denim washes the label has always had a clear direction and identity.

Punk influences teamed with clean denim and simple branding distinguished their label at a time when embellishment and over worked denim was flooding the market. The girl’s focus has always been on simplicity and the importance of fit and fabric whilst keeping the details subtle.

These simple brand values are now being applied to their menswear line, promising signature skinny denim, oversized and laundered print tees in collaboration with Judy Blame and Nick Egan, cut with sharp outerwear and tailoring.
