Steven Alan

In 1999 Steven Alan designed the perfect shirt, not by completely reinventing the concept, but by making subtle but very specific changes to the tradtional button down style.

Alan worked hard on the fit of his shirts, they had to be specific in shape and fit but the final product had to look unfussy and relaxed. They had to be short enough to hang just right over jeans but rumpled and laundered enough to distinguish its wearer from the office worker. Unstudied, yet a perfect fit.

At Laundry Rooms we've always favoured the slightly unkemp look, we love crispy laundered cotton and soft stripes and checks. Steven Alan fits this mould perfectly!
