Founded by Jean Touitou, the Parisian brand APC
was born 1987 when Touitou decided to go his own way after numerous placements
with fashion houses. Since the launch, the brand has followed its own path
turning away from 'fashion' at every opportunity, so much so that it's
perceived as being 'anti fashion'. Touitou choosing the ambiguity of the
initials rather, than the pretense of a Designer name.
The APC clothing collection is simplistic, with emphasis on fabric and
design, rather than unnecessary details and over worked shapes. APC is more
than just clothing it is the perfect example of a lifestyle brand, with some
great collaborations with typically understated accessories.
