Alison Lloyd created the Ally Capellino brand in 1980 selling hats and accessories, with over 25 years of success in fashion design both in the UK and in Japan. In 1999, Alison started to design and create a leather and accessories collection under the label Ally Capellino.

The range includes classic men’s and women’s satchels made in a variety of fabrics and colour ways. There have been a number of high profile collaborations including a collection of bags for Margaret Howell, Top Shop and more recently the premium range of laptop bags for Apple.

The Ally Capellino bags themselves are durable leather and waxed cotton fabrics which improve with age. Ally comments, "people should add something of themselves, so that the bags become theirs not mine".
